Vacuum Systems for Laboratory & Industrial Applications |
|
Single
and Double pump vacuum systems are available in various configurations
for Laboratory and Industrial applications for cycling duties down
to 100 mbar. Continuous operation vacuum levels better than 5 mbar
can be achieved.
|
|
For
laboratory applications pumps are mounted either directly
on the vacuum reservoir or to client specifications. For Industrial
applications the vacuum reservoir is mounted on a framework,
which houses the rotary vacuum pump & control panel. All vessels
are normally designed to withstand full vacuum and are subjected
to a minimum test pressure of 3 Bar. Inlet and exhaust filters
and vacuum cut-off switch are tailored to meet client's specifications.

impregnation plants |
| There
are two types of impregnation plants viz-a) Vacuum impregnation b)
Vacuum pressure impregnation |
|
Vacuum
impregnation is a process of complete penetration and imbibition
of more or less solid, porous bodies with an impregnant. By this
process the object undergoing treatment attains well-defined characteristics
and properties that are dependent on the type of impregnant used.
|
| Application
of Impregnation |
- Electrical
components such as transformers, capacitors, chokes, resistors,
power cables motors etc.
- Scaling
of castings especially aluminium castings

McLeod Gauge: DELVAC McLeod gauge is designed for general
laboratory and industrial applications. The head is generally
positioned with the measuring capillary and scale horizontal.
To take measurement, the head is rotated through 90 around
its rotary seal to bring the tube and scale upright. The rotation
causes the mercury to move within the glassware and isolate
a fixed volume of the gas whose pressure is to be measured.
The trapped gas is then compressed into the closed capillary
tube and when the mercury in the open capillary is level with
the zero mark on the measuring scale, the system pressure
is given by the height of the mercury column in the closed
capillary against the scale which is calibrated directly in
torr.

Sister concern manufactures Expanded Aluminium Mesh Parabolic
Dish Antennas for satellite signal receiving. The basic parabolic
structure is obtained by holding together the double ribbed
trusses and support rings. The expanded mesh petals are attached
to the supporting structure by a series of clips. These antennas
are available with fixed, polar mount and motorized mounts.
